Hi, I’m dr. brooke Bellomio, Psyd
Are you looking for someone to help you navigate challenges in your life and find a place of balance, self-acceptance, and happiness in your day to day life? Well you came to the right place!
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in California specializing in anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, and identity-based concerns. I have over 10 years of experience in private practice and have worked extensively with teens, college students, and adults throughout North County San Diego, including Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Vista, and San Marcos. I offer in-person sessions in downtown Carlsbad Village as well as telehealth throughout California.
Let me tell you a little about me and my practice…
My Approach
I provide holistic, collaborative care, working with each client to create an individualized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals. My aim is not only to help you understand your patterns, but to support you in making meaningful, lasting changes that lead to a more fulfilling life. I value a balance of validation and holding space for emotions and experiences, with curiosity and feedback on how we ended up here and what we can do to make changes.
My approach is integrative and flexible, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based work, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I tailor these approaches based on what will be most effective for you, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
I also offer Lifespan Integration Therapy for individuals who have experienced complex trauma. This is similar to picking up file folders that have been thrown all over the floor and putting them back in the filing cabinet in the correct order. This allows us to accept those events are in the past and move on.
At the core of my work is the belief that therapy should feel both supportive, collaborative, and empowering—helping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.
